Biography
I’m Dimi Salo (born 1988), Finnish-Pontic Greek singer-songwriter, musician, music pedagog (BA) and music journalist. I live in Oulu, Finland. I’ve operated actively in fields of music, teaching and culture for the last 15 years.
On March 2023 my massive novel & album -project will be released. These two pieces of art can be experienced together like a music (theatre) play.
From 2012 to 2017 I’ve released my own music (lyrics, music, arrangements, vocals, keyboards, flute, saxophone) and sang backgrounds and played keyboards on albums and concerts/tours with legendary Finnish musicians and rockbands as:
Jukka Takalo, Kauko Röyhkä & The Boots, Radiopuhelimet, J. A. Mäki and Remu Aaltonen & Skuugi Darlings.
While making my independent and ambitious art I work as a vocal coach and teach songwriting for individuals and groups. I also write music interviews.
