Vocal coach
I’ve worked as a vocal coach and teacher of songwriting for over a decade. I teach on the free field which means, that everyone can become my student, no matter the background, skills, needs and age.
My teaching style is supportive, encouraging, accepting and dialogical. In my opinnion, anyone can learn how to sing – to control their voice and enjoy singing. Also anyone can learn how to write songs, lyrics and music, in their own way. I teach also music theory and ear training.
Right now I have space for some new students. If you’re interested don’t hesitate to contact me. I give lessons of 1 hour (60 minutes) online or in Intiö, Oulu, Finland. Lessons are held Monday to Friday from 12 A.M. to 6.30 P.M.
Vocal lessons for individuals
On live-lessons we sing acoustic, I accompany with keyboards. We can use instrumental music/ karaoke backgrounds. You can also accompany yourself, for example to bring your own guitar with you.
On lessons you will get to know your voice, we practise control and technique, interpretation and expression. Goal is, that singing feels nice and sounds good, you get to know your voice better and develope. I’m open to every song and all the genres, but my own strenght is on Finnish and English sang pop, rock and iskelmä/ schlager.
As vocal coach my goal is to help you get to know your instrument, find your strenght, enjoy singing and music and to get to sing songs, that you personally like. You’re warmly welcome to be my student!
Songwriting lessons for individuals
Do you have a songwriter in you? Would you like to start writing your own songs? Or maybe you have already made lyrics and music, but would like to have some support, advice and tips? Perhaps you have plenty of material that is unfinished and incomplete, and you would like to finish them with me. Or maybe you would like some comments and opinions of your music. I’d be happy to help you!

Lessons for individuals, vocal coach and/ or songwriting, includes tax 24 % (starting from 1st of January 2023)
1 x 60 minutes 56 €
Usually my students take 2 lessons per mont, every 2-3 weeks. This has been a great pace for most.

In case of changes and cancellations (2020–)
1. You can move your lesson once (1) latest 24 hours from the booked lesson. You can always change your lesson to be an online lesson, if you’re for example having some flu symptoms.
2. You can move your lesson once (1) without a medical certificate. This contains also situations, if for example someone from your family is sick and you can not attend your lesson because of it.
3. If you move or cancel attendance to lesson in under 24 hours of the lesson, you need to pay 50 % of the lesson price. Remember – you can always attend your lesson by distance.
4. If you don’t attend to your booked lesson and have not cancelled it, you will be charged 100 % of the price.
